Philippine Sports Commission with the joined effort of the Armed Forces of the Philippines held their first “Boodle Fight” last July 11, 2008 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, Manila.

The activity was participated by soldier-athletes and coaches of AFP’s major services Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force and Philippine Navy. “This serves as a time to remind our men of their roles” said Col. Dante Villanueva, Deputy Chief, Special Service of AFP.

“The soldier-athletes and coaches rank inspection aim to check and scrutinized their mental preparedness and alertness”, Col. Villanueva added.

PSC Commissioner Jose Y. Mundo said that the Boodle Fight is one of the most highly regarded manifestations of unity.
